It is ironic that the man with the biggest heart of all needs a new one.

My husband, Jimmy Nuzzo, known to most as “DJ Jimmy Jam’s”, was born with a congenital heart defect. As an infant, his parents were told he might not survive. Jimmy spent most of his youth in and out of the hospital until his first open heart surgery at age seven at Yale New Haven. After a long recovery, he lived an everyday, healthy life for several years. Owner/Entertainer of Dance To The Music Entertainment, Jimmy has built the reputation of being the best in the industry! As a husband, Dad and Pop, he is the rock of our family and always gives his undivided attention and unconditional love!

After several hospital admissions, Jimmy was recently listed by Massachusetts General for a heart and liver transplant.  This week, Jimmy will be admitted to MGH to wait for a donor.

The outpour of our family, friends and community has been overwhelming, and we are truly thankful for everyone’s love, support and generosity.

This journey we are on won’t be easy, but we will stay strong!
